Reactive plumbing in commercial and multi-dwelling buildings is always a nightmare. A single failure rarely affects just one person—it impacts multiple tenants and businesses. 1. COMPLIANCE DEADLINES (BACKFLOW & TMVs):
Commercial properties, cafes, and multi-unit blocks are often legally required to have Backflow Prevention devices and Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs) tested annually. Missing these testing windows isn’t just an oversight; it can result in hefty fines from your water authority (Barwon, Central, City West etc.) and instantly void a landlord’s insurance policy if an incident occurs.
